Where will my tent be located in the campsite?

Your tent will be located inside BASSCAMP territory (which is inside the general campsite). As soon as you arrive at the festival, make your way to BASSCAMP and our deputies at the festival will show you to your exact spot.

How do I camp with my festival squadron?

To make sure you are with your crew, go to the festival's website and enter the name of your Team Leader as you are booking BASSCAMP.

Is alcohol allowed into BassCamp?

BassCamp operates under the same guidelines as the festival itself. If alcohol is allowed into the campsite at the festival, then we also permit it to enter BassCamp. For Bournemouth 7s, no alcohol purchased externally is allowed to be taken into the campsite - however, alcohol purchased from the festival's vendors may be allowed into the campsite.

Are we allowed camp fires in BassCamp?

Due to festival safety policy, camp fires are not permitted in BASSCAMP.

How will my tent be set up?

Your tent will be set up before you arrive at the festival - the day before the campsite opens. All will be taken care of - including basic set up, fly-over, tent pegs and guy ropes. If you're camping with your crew and you need more than one tent, you will be included in the same camp.

Where abouts will BassCamp be situated in the general campsite?

This will be made known to you when the festival site map is released - usually around 2-3 weeks before the festival. In any case, BASSCAMP is an exclusive area and is full of purple tents - so locating us on the day should be straightforward. If you have any problems on the day, please don't hesitate to ask festival stewards, or find a festival programme.

What will my tent look like?

For 2020, King Tents will be large, 4-6 person tents. Dimensions and materials of the tents will be confirmed very soon.

What happens when I get to the festival?

When you arrive at the festival, locate BASSCAMP by using a site map, or ask a festival steward. BASSCAMP will be made as easy as possible to locate - it is sectioned off, and uses exclusively purple tents. All you need to get your spot in BASSCAMP is your name and the number of people in your camp. Simply arrive at BASSCAMP, let a BASSCAMP deputy know, and you will be shown to your exact spot.
